Hey Y'all

I put my unique and often harsh spin on just about every topic imaginable. If you are easily triggered this is not the podcast for you. But if you are opened minded and are able to think outside the box, you may have just found something you will enjoy.

Hey all, it's Jake. Welcome back to another episode of the Fat Gay Texan, the show where we talk about anything because that's what we should be able to do as Americans. In this episode, I delve into the history and impact of gay marriage legalization and its relationship with the emergence of woke culture.
Gay marriage became legal in June of 2015, and I argue that this was around the same time that woke culture began to rise. Growing up, being gay was one of the most controversial identities you could have, attracting both positive and negative attention. However, as society started to accept gay people more, the controversy around being gay diminished.
With gay marriage legalized and being gay becoming a normal part of American life, a new generation of young people began seeking attention through other means. I discuss the rise of various gender identities and pronouns, and how these trends have become the new way for young people to stand out and gain social media followers.
Throughout the episode, I share personal anecdotes and observations about how the landscape of identity and attention-seeking has evolved. From fake gay personas in the past to the current craze of multiple gender identities, I explore what drives these trends and why they might be happening.
Join me as I navigate these complex topics and share my thoughts on the state of modern identity politics. Thanks for tuning in to the Fat Gay Texan. Until next time, this is Jake signing off.

Jake also reflects on the evolution of the LGBTQ+ rights movement, expressing frustration over how the fight for simple equal rights has shifted towards seeking special treatment. He calls for a return to the original goal: to live a normal life without being noticed for one's differences.
